The hybrid category now includes many small "niche" categories.  We carry hybrids for country roads and easy trails, hybrids for mostly pavement, hybrids for only pavement, and tandems.  The hybrids start at $275. 

Mountain bikes come in front suspension only models known as hardtails, and full suspension mountain bikes have a shock on the front wheel and the rear wheel.  Full sus bikes come in standard travel or "race travel" suspension which ranges around three inches of shock movement.  "Mid-travel" full sus bikes are usually around 4-5 inches of shock travel and are also called "all mountain" bikes. Long travel mountain bikes usually have 6-8 inches of travel and are generally used for downhilling, freeriding or "hucking".  The 29 inch wheeled mountain bike is represented in our shop by Cannondale, Redline, Surly and Raleigh.  Mountain bikes with front shocks start at $250.  Full suspension bikes from Cannondale start at $1400.  Our kids bikes start at $99 and up.
